Jack Jones, who grew up in Palm Springs, was remembered as a great friend to the city and the Coachella Valley. He notably helped launch the city's Buzz Trolley and composed a theme song titled "The Buzz Bus," inspired by his famous tune from the Love Boat TV series. This song was performed in front of hundreds of fans on Palm Canyon Drive, creating a memorable evening for the community. The city expressed gratitude for Jack Jones's contributions and offered condolences, wishing him peace.
